The Coral Island, locally called "Koh Taen", is South of Koh Samui, Surat Thani, THAILAND which takes about 30 minutes by typical long-tail boat. It is a beautiful, pristine island naturally. Its area is 7.5 square kilometer. The island, surrounded by coral reef with serene white sandy beaches lined with coconut trees, offers a perfect spot for snorkeling and sunbathing.
To the East of the island, it is called "Ao Ork" (East Bay) inlet with shoreline corals. To the West, it is called "Ao Tok" (West Bay) with the mangrove forests for study of the ecological system and the existence of the stone beach inlet which abounds in the coral reefs on the shallow.
The exotic characteristic of this island is that no dog can survive for so long due to the hypothesis that sounds waves, the magnetic fields or some species of diseases which are dangerous to dog.
